Layla Claure wins Most Community-Engaged Research Poster Award at the IUSCCC Cancer Research Day

IUSCCC Community Outreach and Engagement presented Layla Claure with the “Most Community Engaged Research Poster Award” at the 2022 IUSCCC Cancer Research Day. This award recognizes outstanding research addressing under-represented or under-served populations and/or research directly involving members of the community.

Layla presented Clinical Practices, Knowledge, and Attitudes Regarding Primary HPV Testing and Self-sampling for Cervical Cancer Screening, a study that is part of the lab’s cervical cancer research. Congrats, Layla!
